This course aims to provide family members and caregivers with the necessary tools to accompany people who have experienced a suicide attempt. It will address crucial issues such as stigma, social perceptions, common myths, care measures, crisis intervention and the importance of access to professional help. In addition, it will explore the difference between death ideation and suicidal ideation, suicidal and non-suicidal self-injurious behaviors, and provide strategies for building a strong support network.
